No doupt about any of these projects, any ones worst nightmare is a floor full of water and bouncing fishys![]()
Tell me about it!
At least if anything bad does happen the conservatory is at a lower level than the rest of the house and there is a drain in it under the carpet so i just have to worry about having wrecked one room

When i thought tarps were waterproof there was going to be 3 'waterproof' layers. The plans had to change as it's gone and a lot of it has been financially reasoned as money is short. Yes 2 liners then the tarp would have been preferable than it is now. But i'm hoping as it's a good quality thick liner, it's not against anything sharp, there's no risk of roots or moles or anything like that trying to pop up through it like there would outdoors, and the tarp protects it from teeth on the inside that there's very little risk of anything punching a hole in it. If i've not built something larger in a couple of years i may look at giving it a thorough service and installing a second liner then when i can better afford it.
The other reason for wanting the blue tarp remember was so the fish show up, where's dark fish on a black background don't show up so well. I did try and hunt for blue liners but all i could find were swimming pool ones which required specialist installation.
