i see why your all sayin its a great idea....kinda ....but does it really need to be taught to a 6month old? errrrrrrrr no. i've stuided child care for the last... 2 years and i still don't see the need for stress on a 6month old child who can't tell you that he/she wants to learn this. yeah accidents happen bla bla bla but there are dangers EVERYWHERE. and still the child might forget how to float so you spent all that time trying to teach them this for nothing.
my idea is to watch them 24/7 until they are old enough to learn NOT TO GO NEAR THE POOL.(just like you teach them not to go near the road ...doesn't mean we should have kids with built in air bags just incase) when u have a child don't you have to child proof the house anyway? using locks and saftey gates and plug protector things sooooooo a pool cover isn't rocket science. reeto
Why buy a pool cover when you can send your kid to superman school? LMAO! I agree 1000% and this is the kind of logic that I use as well. To each their own. My kids can count to 20 say there abc's sing at least 100 songs (way more than me) and they are just advanced thinkers for their age (2 and 3) And here I was thinking I was an O.K. parent?.....
I think I will install wings on my kids and start leaving the balcony door open......
