Canister Filters

Howdy,

The Eheim 2080 (aka Eheim Professionel 3) came out in Germany in 2004 and hit the US market just this last month. For details click here:

You'll have to see if you really need additional filtration once you've checked out this puppy ..... ;-)

So that one filter will work for a well stocked 180g? I guess it's going to come down to whether I find a RR or standard tank. After seeing that Eheim, I hope the latter is what I find. I'll probably run another small canister, just because I'll sleep easier. I'm thinking a 2217. Another 250GPH of filtration certainly won't hurt.
