Can't decide on which Cichlid!

I've had Geophagus Surinemsis (not sure on spelling) these were really nice but didn't leave the bottom of the tank at all and were constantly fighting in a group of 5 i had.

If you like Parachromis dovii and managuensis, you could consider Parachromis motaguense, loisellei or friedrichsthalii. Closely related and similar in appearance to the dovii and managuensis, but a pair should fit comfortably in a 4x2x2'.

Good call! i'll check to see the availablity of these ! presume the best way for a pair with these is like most fish buy a group of ~Juvi's and let them sort themselves into a pair?

Go for the freddies. The hondo yellow heads are great looking fish.

Vieja synspila Look them up and their size is right. I think they look pretty sweet and are not as common as oscars or other cichlids.

I agree with RTMs or Freddi if you like Parachromis. I would go with somthing Amphilophus personally, I feel they have more personailty and are very interactive.
