no not coming off harsh Im glad your responding Id like to learn all the pros and cons.
Im using it as a daily driver because I want something smaller and more fun for the summer.

BTW cons of using a track car as a daily driver?

Usually track cars have been run hard. Only about 50% of the guys I know treat there track cars well. You'll often times find hidden issues later on, or mods done that work great on the track, but suck on the road.

My car (just as an example): No heat, no A/C, no sound deadening material (insulation), very harsh suspension set up (feel every bump), soft compound rubber (wears out fast, not great traction until it's up to temp). I know my exhaust could use some attention, but I don't care when it's on the track... for the street, I'd want it sealed up tighter. My rear end has taken a beating as well, and I know at any given event it could check out on me.

Race cars take a beating on the inside, and without tearing down the motor, you might not really know what kind of shape it's in. Same could be said for trans, rear and almost anything else.

It all seems like viable information and are good thing to know what is your opinion on the up grades the rear end was recently replaced, It rides smooth has sounds and ac, idles perfect 2500 stall converter pete jackson gear drive 202 heads steel crank 410 gear in the rearend

All depends on the quality of the build. All the right parts slapped together by the wrong hands won't last long.
I'd have a good look at it prior to buying. I'm (personally) nervous about buying anything modified from someone I don't know.

Sounds like a headache to me, especially if you're going to daily drive it. The gear drive alone makes me shudder.

Why whats wrong with the gear drive?
Im not second guessing you I just would like to know

Gear drives transfer alot of harmonics from the crank to the valvetrain, but moreover, you' just get tired of hearing the thing whine and whine.I remember thinking they were cool for about 5 minutes in high school. You'll get more accurate cam timing and all that, but the sound better be something you like.I was just picking on the gear drive, the rest of the combo doesn't sound daily driver friendly either.

I agree with what has been said. I would buy stock and if you want it modded then do it your self. I dont trust other peoples work, there are so many "ghetto rigged" set ups its not even funny. Track cars are not daily drive friendly and tend to do a lot of wear and tare, pretty much look at zoodivers post he did a good job explaining it. I have a modded car used for DD, but my set up is more street friendly. I do feel all the bumps in the road, my rear end is stiff, speed bumps suck and so do any other dips in the road. I put a lot of wear on my suspension and tires (which are not cheap). I have more in suspension wise than motor wise as I dont want to put a lot of ware and tare on my DD motor/tranny, thats something I would work on when I have another car I can use as a DD. Slowly over time even a more street friendly modded car will wear down and take a beating.

If you are so intrested in a small fun car for the summer, why not look for a small manual car you can have fun with? Buy it cheap and mod it your self, there are plenty of different types of cars you could look at. I guess if you just want to drag then whatever but its not fun with out the clutch, imo.

stick is fun but not for every day IMO hence the auto car, I just want something to tool around in the funny thing is I was looking for better mpg but now Im looking at cars just as bad as burbans. it started with a 97 prelude and turned in to an 80 monte
