I feel like I just keep causing problems, but Im not a big fan of most early 80s-mid 00s american cars. I guess the search is still on.

Thanks for all your help,

I980 monte it was a 350 .060 bored to a 388

388 is more than just .60 over, has a 400 crank too..

Honestly it might drive fine but it will probably eat gas like a BP pipeline leaks oil. So probably not the best daily. Ratchet shifters are fine. Buy an unmodded and mod it yourself as you go or buy a beater and then buy the race car.

.02

yeah the estimated average is 15mpg

all 3 but to be honest Im easily distracted by speed or flash lol

I found something with all 3 Audi A6 4.2 Quattro I didnt think it was possible

If you are bouncing from a 80s monte to a Audi you don't know what you really want.

And a 80s monte that gets 15MPG that's insane I have a full sized 4x4 dodge with a V8 and I get over 17.

Didnt come close to reading more than 3 posts lol, but the answer is no! THeres no clutch on an automatic. If you want to be able to lauch the car at a higher rpm you could buy a looser torque converter, or install a transbrake. Hope this helps

Look into an Audi S4 if you want the best of all worlds in a german car for a decent price. A B5(model years) S4 is a great platform. My buddy has a Stg3 setup that got into the high 11's, and it has heated seats lol. You can find stock, or modded S4's from $11,000-15,000 on avg, some cheaper, some more.
