Hmmm depends what you're looking for and how much you want to spend. IMHO Laps are a bit boring, both in terms of coloration and activity. My Ans is a beautiful beautiful fish with great markings but in terms of activity she comes up a bit short. And my Koliba is ... a huge fat bastard lol he's also very active. Seems to make you want to watch him. I had another Koliba before that and he was the same way. R.I.P. to Dusty, but yeah. I'm going to pick up another Ans at some point, and I'd probably get another Koliba if I had the room. Hope that helps

P.S. I started feeding tilapia to the babies - we'll see if that has any affect on their growth rate a month from now. The big boys seem to love the stuff.
