CB's Cichlid thread

here was my jd/texas cross i had in the past. really wish he was still around to see what he turned out to look like. he was at about
4-5 inches.

if the carpinte is male then the tube should be showing all the time anyways, its not out of there nature for cichlids to interact with each other this does not meen that they are a pair.

i hope they dont breed, because knowing the likes of you, you will sell them to the LFS as texas or JD at .5" and then there will be tones more hybrids out there.

it probably chases the other texas because its the dominant one out of the 2 (or how ever many you have in ure 1 gallon beer glass)

get rid of the JD and texases (and what ever else you are keepign in that cup) and keep something which will not out grow your tank.

and then when youve bout 2 neons 2 cardinals 2 guppys and a bristlenose pleco, never go to a fish store again and send someone else to buy your food/dechloriniser.

if you now have the 55 just get rid of the 2 texas. send them to me, ill give them a nice 1200 gallon home. your jd will thank you for it and so would they but they will be too busy swimming all over the place.

i bred festae at 3-3.5"
it is possible.

so what happened to the other tex in the 29? is he in the 5G with the 3 cons and god knows what else is in there? or did u flush him?

This thread is now for CB to update his Cichlid tank. This will be his only thread in the Cichlid forum, and I don't want to clean it up daily. If I have to clean up flaming, the auto bot will visit you with an infraction and a "post deleted" message. I'm sure we can be adults and let him have one thread.

5 gallon??? thats in the basement i dont have it set up. the 10 gallon convict tank is gunna be a 20 gallon soon fo them. and right now i only have 1 texxas one JD in the 29. AND im getting a 55 soon wen i move out with my sis

Nope thats a Hybrid you can tell by the size of its spangles ( small and roung ) and the shape of its mouth
