Celebrating one year

I just glanced at the eggs and I have a couple of wrigglers. I'm glad I convinced myself to not throw them out until tomorrow just to make sure they were all bad. I may have more, but it's kind of hard to tell when they're in a clear container and my best flashlight broke.
 
For now it's just 2-3 that hatched. It's hard to tell with how small they are... And there's also the fact that I'm having to use the flashlight on my phone...

There are black dots in most of the good eggs. I'm hoping those are eyes.
 
Sounds good. My first fish were also inadequately looked after, and now i have more fish in a space i consider far from what's necessary for all my goldfish, which is 17 in 150 litres but luckily it is aquaponics and i am doing WC. Unlike you my dad isn't really interested in the fish (your dad got you a 210 right?) and doesn't seem intent on helping my getting a container of 600 litres or more to grow them up in.

Good luck on your fry, hopefully the parents get better at the spawning game :)

My Dad did buy me the tank. He woke me up early one morning and we drove about 220-250 miles total to pick up the tank.

I wish there was a way for me to teach them to cheat at the spawning game. So they could win every time.

My goldfish wanted to spawn at the beginning of winter, they are supposed to spawn in spring. I would totally drive 250 miles to get a 210, only thing is i have to buy most of my own stuff, luckily my dad got me a filter for my 70 otherwise i wouldnt have been able to afford it. Right now all my pocket money (roughly 11.66 USD current exchange) is going to my snake and fish.

I get $40 a month. By the time I'm done with chemicals and filter pads I have 10-15 left. Basically I can get one cheap fish per month.
 
thats why i plan on getting a few larger fish that i can keep alive fairly easily. Hopefully i can work at my lfs in my summer holidays, cant do it right now cause they have this other new dude in that has little idea on what they have in stock and he even said that FISH ONLY GROW TO THE SIZE OF THEIR TANK. This LFS is great then there is this guy

He may be smarter than you think. He could be saying that to try to sell you a fish, so he keeps his job because of fish sales, and he keeps himself entertained by bagging that. It could be that or like you said he's just ignorant.

Well it was hoplo cats and it is for my 20 litre. as small as they are now it could work but 6 inch fish in a small tank? noooooooo. He also said the coloured black phantoms were natural
