Solid Lince Cat there.

That wolf on the last frame is a Lac? Love it's hump and spoon shaped head. Amazing tanks you have there.

Sold as an Iguaza...... But thinking could very well be Hoplias Mbigua.

Awesome tanks. Thanks so much for sharing.

You have a lot of wolves there!!!

Great combo with the rays as well.

Thank you, there's currently 13 wolves total residing here. What fascinates me so much with wolves is how every species can differ so much from the next personality wise. Some are very active, some reclusive, they seem social as in they will actually hang out in groups together, while some are so timid of others that unless isolated seem like they'd rather starve themselves to death then live with another species. The one thing that has remained constant is the fact that I have less fighting amongst the wolves then I do between any of the rest of the Characins here. There's more scales lost between the 2 Armatus, or the 2 Dorado then there ever is amongst ALL the wolves. The Tiger fish are the worst.

Here is the result of my second largest Tatf and a similar sized Vatf.

Very much appreciated....... I'm honored.

Still have a few more swimming around here. Will try to grab a few pics today.

Do have a hell of a dillema on my hands here thought, and that's the Armatus' teeth. They've been in some very expensive fish that I consider irreplaceable. Do any of you guys feel like I'd have better luck mixing the ATF with the Dorado and Lince then the Armatus? Problem is it seems the Armatus are growing tired of the nonstop movement of these fish and have began taking swipes at them. For some reason I want to think the ATF might actually swim with them instead of lurking down low and swiping like the Armatus do whenever they swim by....... IF anyone's ever tried to 2 I'd love to hear the result...

Other than Lince, I have kept the species you mentioned there.

The payaras (red tail and armatus) that I kept together with VATF, do not like to swim or mix around. In fact they each have their own corners and like yours, will strike at an occasional fish that swims by.

The VATF that I had, will at times glide together with my aro and moonlight catfish - he only gets cranky when hungry or a new fish is introduced into the tank.

Sadly, had lost most of them couple years back except the aro and gar hence trying to restart a comm again this year.

Add: that dark colored wolf in your last video, an Aimara? Does he comm well with the others?

Yes, Aimara. Have had no issues at all with him, and he started with other wolves in his tank from day 1. Acquired at about 6-7". Only issue was killing a pair of smaller Tatf the first lights out here, but I should not have mixed minnows with him.

Any particular species of wolf you feel works better in a community? Or any species that don't normally work?
