Brisket is a big Texas thing, how'd you manage to pick that up in FL???

Simple. I see a big ole slab of meat in the store and I think, "I wonder what that'd be like on the grill." Plus I'm from the country/deep south part of FL, not the "big city"

Ahh, my mom's mother lives in Winter Haven, love it down there besides the fifty cent piece sized mosquito's in the country.

the world bbq championship is being held in my home town of memphis this month. wonder how many gas grills will be in the competition? ZERO!

this thread is about backyard grilling not competitions lol
and the only reason there might not be many gas grills is they would be done before "a day" and off doing other things with their lives

sunday we had a mothers day cookout
guess what kind of grill?
ya propane
guess what
plenty of time to bs and drink beer

the food was great
and
didnt have to baby sit the heat,just the food, and that =more visiting time

but with coals you get more drinking time. More drinking time = better bbq stories.
