charcoal or propane grill?

Actually, midnight does get the nice charcoal taste.
























because that's what he turns his steaks into.
He is the only person I know that can take a perfectly good piece of meat into something that I use as fuel to grill.

If cooked the same, there is no difference between propane and charcoal (apart from the lighter fluid idiots). Try it next time blind-folded if you ever have a chance of taking two meat COOKED the same way.

However what give the charcoal the superior taste in food is that it allow for the user to have DIRECT control over the heat source. Propane is nice and even, and you have to adjust the height of the food or the source itself and affect everything on it. With charcoal, you can concentrate or spread the heat. Thus you see them winning more BBQ competitions.

I just bought a Char-griller Pro Deluxe along with the fire/smoker box attachment. I put it together today and will be seasoning the grates later this week. Hopefully I'll be making ribs on it this weekend. Can't Wait!!!:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
