bigspizz, they weren't the most tender though. I need to try to go even longer as you advise next time to try and make 'em more tender.

They are different every time...I hate too tough, and too tender...About 80% of the time, I knock it out of the park. Now that I live in a desert like Basin, It is more like 100% consistency:headbang2 I am getting my new cam this week! I will post pics of my next rib session:D

the truth about charcoal.

charcoal is 208 times more saturated in these things called "awesome manly flavoraids" that is why its the best choice for cooking meat.

you HAVE TO USE HICKORY CHARCOAL!!! Kingsford if you can.
NO PINE! it contains creasotin and will taste like crap.

also if you grill alot get a charcoal tower, it uses paper to start the charcoal instead of lighter fluid which also makes it taste better.

a little known fact.
using a propane gril makes you 200.35% more likely to have a vagina

ok... i finally took the dive and order me a charcoal grill...

I like that one person voted that they are a wuss....I wonder who it was???^^^

I guess it just depends on what your grilling and how much time you have. Propane if you need to do the job quick, like hamburgers. charcoal if you can relax and cook a steak. If you real want to do the job right, use a good smoker and cook all day with like mesquite or hickory.

Smoking and grilling are not the same. Smoked foods, although good, are what they are, smoked 'fill in the blank'. Grilling is art, when done properly.

cooking in a oven is not grilling either but there is an option for that. I was just stating my own opinon that smoking taste better to me.
