Chatuchak Bangkok - More fish than you can imagine

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is my list, generally when I find a certain fish I cross it off the list. If you want something that you didn't see in the last set of photos, or more of something, just comment about it again and I'll get to it. I don't see everything every time either, usually I go everywhere but it isn't always available.

Birchirs
P bass
Datnoids
Wolf fish
Large clown loaches
Cichlids
Tiger fish (all kinds)
Armatus
Ranchu Goldfish
Tarpon
Dorado
Jullien Carp
Festaes (cichlid)
Maseers
Gars
Catfish
Lungfish
Turtles

Comment if you want to add.

large armatus please!! I've seen lots of large armatus in asia and it would help a ton if you could ask them what they feed and stuff because they have much better results than people in the states

These are the pictures I took, I didn't have much time there so I only took a few.

They feed them ghost shrimp, or feeder fish (convict cichlids, goldfish, any small fish).

A lot of times people in the states say "You know your fish needs a balanced diet in order to have enough nutrients to live and grow well". I'm not directing this at you but it is all Bull, people here are feeding $6,000 Black Diamonds a healthy diet of FROZEN GHOST SHRIMP. Probably 20% of the fish here are fed on one dietary substance, if not %50.

Don't worry man just feed your armatus shrimp and fish.

Wow, I just saw this post now and amazing. It reminds me of my trips to Beijing and Shanghai where there were tons of these markets. Can anybody tell me what species of ray, is the ray on picture 17 in the first page.
Thank You

I really enjoyed this thread, great pictures. it made me wish I live in Bangkok but i would probably need around 10 500 gal tanks to keep all the fish i want lol. I noticed there isn't many pix of cichlids, i would love to see some nice big SA/CA cichlids or tanks full of colorful africans if it's not too much trouble, and as many oddballs as u can find :D

There are many tanks with hundreds of cichlids, I'll take a few pictures.
