breed convicts in a 10 gallon , perfect feeders man. My moray likes 10inch cichlids of all kinds .... the red devils especailly

and man , this is suppose to be a forum where people go to for information , not harrasing and embarrassing. Some of you people really need to chill out. Im sure everyone has fed their fish plenty of feeders in there days. There is a difference between misinformed , and ignorance. What most of you provide is not information , its ignorance with a little information tied to it. Im sorry for all the rude people on here man , they think only experianced people should ask questions.... wait that doesnt make sense....

If you're trying to remove the snails, you can read here about the methods:

Other than that, no, the snails aren't bad, but the their presence in large numbers means you're overfeeding or undercleaning -- they've got a lot to eat, and so the population is growing. Also, if they're just getting chewed up, but not eaten, the dead, decaying bodies are really going to foul water quality.

working on 6 ft
thats crazy. and i had a perfect snail population never had algae on anything then i got pacus and they ate them all and the snails are about dime size they arent the LFS snails i caught about 10 wild ones and the breed like crazy so i end up wit like 100 in a couple of months

if anyone this guy deserves a metal. Your posts really crack me up , i like your humor.

although info below the funny post would have been better

I knew the torrent of information was only moments away. If I'd taken the time to write the whole thing out and find links, etc., it would have been redundant.

Nice job on the giant moray!

Snails are a great food!

Yep. I'm glad someone else saw this in this thread. Unfortunately, as with any hobby in which knowledge is very valuable, there will be a very arrogant group of people who's goal is to call people out rather than to help them.
