Hi all, im currently trying to find a cheaper way to feed my fish. Atm im feeding them on a diet of hikari cichlid gold and prawns. But this is proving to be costly (well the pellets side of it). The fish include 8inch cf, 2 poly. delhizi, poly. senegalus and mixed central amercians. Any tips on cheap bulk food would be appreciated.

earth worms epecially, maybe bloodworms, and bologna. don't feed he bologna very meal try 2-3 times a week cus it puts pressure on your filter and the bichirs just go crazy for it!!!

This is a VERY bad idea. Fish are not equipped to break down the mammalian fats and proteins in bologna. I don't even eat the garbage myself. Bologna is anus, uterus, penis, hooves, ears, tongues and all the other crap parts of the animal. Grind it up with a bit of fat, color it pink and call it bologna.
