Everything looks great (here it comes) BUT... I would have used nicer hinges. The ones on there remind me of an old grandma's kitchen. hate to sound so harsh but its what i think of when i see those hinges. Everything else about the stand is super nice!

I'd build a really tall tank to put on top of it. It's not gonna fall over or buckle from weight. That thing is beefy!

The room the tank is in is dark at times, so it makes it easier to do things inside the stand.

Ya I acounted a extra 3"s in my original blue prints for a light. At forst i was going to use a 2 ft one, but the 3ft ones were on sale so I choose that one.
