Do they glow in the dark?

Super G, they cannot change sex. I'm sorry, but that doesn't happen with ACF.

I had one that as a male fertilized and 3 or so weeks later was caught laying the eggs.

Riddle me that:screwy:

Simple: You are wrong.

That is like saying one day I released sperm, then 3 or so weeks later started my menstrual cycle.

It doesn't happen bud.

My turn I think your both wrong that is they can change but no way in the condtions and time frame your talking about they change if they are put in an all same sex environment for prolonged periods of time the metamorphs takes time and is aided by sesonal climate change I'm not 100% on this one it's been along time sence I've been in class but the principle is accurate!

My turn again!!!

There are frogs who can do this, you are absolutely correct. There are some where if the whole "colony" of frogs are female, one can turn male. This is present in some fish as well, such as Mollies (debatable) or Oscellaris clowns. However, just like with fish, some can change sex, while others can not. ACF cannot change sex.

Correction: I have spent about half an hour surfing the web on this. I found that ACF CAN change sex, BUT ONLY AS TADPOLES. And even then, the tadpoles that changed sex, changed from A CHEMICAL ADDED TO THE WATER.

Your ACF did not change sex on you, sorry mate.

Cool, why dont we see what happens with these? maybe that can help clear up any speculation?
