check out the fish high way

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
insane and its funny how I've imagined of my tanks being able to do that but I didn't even think it was possible. Awesome

That would be cool to have a fish highway going from one end of the house to the other.

As someone said you could fill the bridge, cap it, submerge it, then uncap it.

Or you could submerge the bridge, insert a hose and suck out the air.

A different way to suck out the air would take more work when setting up the system, but would help in the long run. Drill a hole at the highest point of the bridge. Connect a check valve to the hole so that you could pull air out, but none would flow in.

Does that make sense?

The same general idea is used with overflow boxes. They are a pain to re-start if they break siphon, but adding a check valve makes re-starting/re-filling them easy.

Hell ya bro.....You could do the bridge in 4"clear pvc with clear elbows... good find

Even better.. The Tenite or tenyte tubes are cheaper and sold in 6 or 8 feet... not ten..!! They are just as clear and say they are good for this kind of thing if I read it correctly!! Nice....

how can i get a redtail/shovelnose hybrid??????
