My understanding is people call them La Ceiba because that was where they were first collected. I don't believe they have been scientifically classified. From my point of view they def are a diff parachromis species but they share characteristics from all of em.
And she has the black barring depending on her mood, the previous pics are of them only being in the tank around 24 hours after a Very stressful move.
