Just happened to look in on my cons and they have eggs and they all are amber so he did a really good job on fertilizing them anyone have ideas on put to cover my filter tube with so it doesn’t suck the babies up I’m gonna leave this batch in and see how well they do at parenting
 
congrats, I usually just put a pantyhose or thin dress sock over the filter intake and rubber band it there. Sponge prefilter will probably work too but I like the first option, the babies cant swim through it
 
Does it matter if the pantyhose or dress sock is new as long as it’s clean? I always used to have a 10gallon set up but haven’t got arOund to it I didn’t expect them to get to it so soon lol

just make sure it's clean and that you don't use any fabric softener or other chemical when you do laundry that hangs around in the clothes. Personally, I go to a outlet shoe store and snag some of the free womens socks they have in the little dispensers.
