CHEERS! Pre water change today, I was taking the pic and was focused on the bass and almost completely cut out the beer but it’s there lol. One of the spider kels has a birth defect so he is nick named Alfalfa.

Alfalfa that’s cute and fitting. Is this the 180 growout? The bass are gorgeous as usual. And the bds are show stoppers. How big are they now?

OMG... if you look closely at the left side of the picture you will see a navy blue male betta and I'm bright pink female betta doing the mating dance. Their bubble nest is under a piece of yellow styrofoam packing tray.

Forgive me for posting bettas in the bass thread but I was just so amazed that I caught these guys in the act!

I think it was the water change that set them off.

Ulu if you like the Oscar and get a kick out of his character, personality, and antics, you will love pbass. They are very similar but even more fun. Imo.

I really enjoy all of cichlids and wish I had started keeping them years ago.

I would like to start an outdoor pond with some local smallmouth bass, which are quite beautiful purple and green fish, but I have no idea what they'd be like in captivity.

Who needs a tv, when you have a set up like that. What kind of scotch if you don’t mind me asking? Looks like a fancy bottle similar to a Japanese whisky I like, distilled in scotch casks so it taste remarkably like scotch. Some even call it Japanese scotch. Lol
Its just Johnny Black.
