never feed cooked shrimp, all the nutrients are gone, feed RAW shrimp

Agree'd, cooked shrimp is not nutritious for fish.

Alright, been gone awhile-anyways no pics cause their caudaul fin is messed up.
One had a V-shape part missing and the other had like two chunks. That is why I have not sent pics. I have had them for around two weeks and a half and they very attractive. However, none of their fins have grown back-in my opinion atleast this is not normal. Will I wind up with Dovii that have messed up tail fins? Or are they really slow healers? Their fins haven't gotten worse but have not gotten better either. And I am sure one is female and the other is male-BTW the male is GORGEOUS-it would be a shame if its fins stayed like that. Anyways you guys/gals let me know what I can do or give me an opinion of whether or not my Doviis fins will grow back.

hmm either way yu should still show pics...we can see how long it take to get the finage to heal up on progression. but to get yur dovii healing up fast, I would juss raise the temp, salt....and yur good to go

I didn't add salt but did raise the temp to 84 degrees-so would salt make a big difference? I really love my male he isn't as bad as the female. Basically the top of his caudual fin is present then he has a gap in the middle, then a really skinny strip of fin is peresent, then another gap, and then remaining bottom part is present.
