i have many of things to say...
well first off when i have something to say i say it be that as it is i guess i am considered a prick for sayin what i believe well thats fine even though freedom of speech is my first amendment ill put that aside for now. Second, if the fingers are going to be pointed at me well for all the reasons no one posts here any more thats fine but just remember to all those people who think that im pointing one back and its not the index or pinky. Third there was not such transaction in which people had middle men to obtain there extra cichla, i know this for a fact.
i dont know what happend to acouple of the threads were people had pics of all there yellow labled cichla but this is the closest i could find

Now let me get down to the facts;
Cichla Kelberi - mmm one of my favorites at least the nice ones HA! anyhow
Did you know? Sao Paulo kelberi are actually NON-native cichla? they have been brought into SP from northern regions in brazil that are much warmer year round. SP's weather is kind of similar to that of say LA or more chaparral areas when you get coastal and is also highly temperate when you get more inland instead of dry and highly mountainous. Unlike norther brazil SP receives a different weather patterns in the seasons than say the amazonas in both rain, heat i also believe that water conditions in such locations would be dramatically different to say that of a evergreen tropical rainforest's. But i dont have proven information to back that up but in other means. here is some more info on SP kelberi.
SP: kelberi have been listen as a trans-locative bass (defi: It has been sent from native regions to fill a niche in another habitat that is either lacking or other reasons, basic definition is to establish a non native creature into new territory) so its not even an original kelberi. How do i know it's translocaive? you may ask. well i have some highly credible and proven statements in this passage right in this image cropped directly out of the cichla spp. (a highly recommended guide for any cichla keeper) check it out

not to mentions fabricio even said so and he lives in brazil.
now here we have a map of pretty much alto parana.
and well why does that even matter you may ask? well it is inland very inland. i dont know too much of were in SP these guys are fished out of but i would think inland over coastal only place semi-coastal that has kelberi would be ceara and maybe the amazon drainage but i dont even recall kelberi being in the amazon drainage. anyhow enough about were they live well we have heard all these great things about them right they turn awesomely yellow and are super rare and pretty much not your ordinary cup of tea, well i agree but now lets move on and talk about there scale.

so now i assume you are speaking of SP's, and that this is a picture of one. You states that he had them in stock, now this statement is misleading. It sounds like he actually had that fish in stock and for sale which i believe is incorrect i think Georges intentions where to reference that image as what an adult looks like or possibly what an adult from that batch looks like to make your hopes go up and possibly make you a customer.orinocensis1;3830819; said:

but you know its okay cause i dont know anything about kelberi and what i said is all a load of horse s.. and as much as i would love to go on and on about this i feel like it's a waste of the 15min it took for me to make this.. i would go into more detail but its not worth it...

my whole point was istead of telling someome they are an idiot and trying to smear them there are more tactful ways of discusing things i got up this morning and felt like a fool for even saying anything!We are all lucky to have this forum and i for one have just found it and will try to cherish it!!I dont know much at all about cichla and this forum has helped me a great deal already.I also have met people on here we normally would not have a chance to met if not for this forum.Bickering or small things will ensure that it dies! I for one feel lucky to be able to viset this site . I dont know if that makes sense but i felt i needed to say it THANKS every body that is willing to help when asked!!

Ok bro aparently you don't have any common sense what so ever.. If you look really really goood at the 2 pics .. a little while after you should notice that Scats pic is more zoomed in then mine? So why would you even compare it?
or what if I had the fish in a 10,000 gallon tank? a 12" hell, a 24" fish would look baby in it so If I say its 12" why wouldn't you take my word for it? Why would I lie about something like that?
Yeah I could say a lot of things also but I'm not gonna waste my time either. Just gonna salvage what is left of this thread and hope that people would post nice Info or pics on their sao paulo Kelberi's. PEACE

Brian, glad to see someone else with some sao paulos.Yeah I would love to see pics on how they are turning out. I believe that they are sao paulos and that you do have a load of them. Im sure you also have better connections then me too though lol and like I said I was told there was a limit per person on them, maybe for average Joe's like me that only takes a trip up to SA once every few months
