Cichlid with best personality??

Im talking about a fish that loves to see you. One that doesn't hide and wont be scared to be hand fed. Im tired of fish that hide lol theres no point in them if I cant see them -.- Ive had my tank for a year of easy beginner peaceful cichlids and want to move up to something with personality

Oscar and never pet your oscar. messes with there slime coat. sail fin plecos quite personable also and can touch them, they will come and eat from your hand. or just hang out on it.

I agree, Cant stand fish any new worlds that hide for no reason (cough cough festae)

My green terror (rivulatus) is becoming quite interactive. He has recently started eating from my hand and let's me pat him every now and then.

In my case "pet" is the equivalent to holding my hand at the surface and the fish touches it while it goes by, I really doubt people pet fish like dogs.
