you would be surprised by folks that want to pet and handle there fish. but I do agree, it most certainly not the norm, and like to keep it that way.

In my experience I've always found , flowerhorns, jags and Oscars to be most interactive they all become great "wet pets"

jags like cats, either feed me or go away. and keep you damm hands out of my tank. no ideal about flowerhorns, never had one of the hybrid mutants.

should not pet a scaled fish, it disrupts there slime coat, opening them to infection. just say en.

I doubt a 0.1 second pat on the head would cause much harm. He bashes his head and body on the glass and decor all day long lol
