Classic Leos good ole P13

Not a p12 or p13 but the classic marbled motoro is what got me into fw rays all those years ago. The LFS I worked at eventually use to get these absolutely jaw dropping marbles shipped in from Brazil, when I was a kid. Once I saw those I knew I had to have one. Unfortunately at that time I didn't have the means to keep any. I was never able to get one if those amazing ones. This girl here is probably one of my all time favorites though!

Wow! That's a stunning marble! Classic leos are what got me into rays, but once I got my hands on some high quality marbles I found a new appreciation for them. I plan to always keep some marbles and keep them pure. I've seen too many nice collections get muddied up with hybridization. My marbles will always be separated from other rays. Nothing against hybrids...just not going to happen with my marbles!

Always loved that Hen, she is what spurred my love for them. Did she pass and if so how old was she?

Yes she passed. Birth complications on her 3rd litter. Things have never been the same for me for rays. Every ray I have I compare to her.

She was well over 20 as far as I know. She was with me for many years and the pet shop that owned her before me had her for MANY more. She lived in. 108 gallon tank there. She got to my tanks and got massive. Still the 2nd biggest ray I have ever seen aside from S skynoch Castexi. Anybody that seen her will attest. There was nothing like her

How wide was she? I always wonder how much the big females weigh once they get 24"+ you think 15-20lbs?
