Cleaning with soap

Alright alright. I thought if it wasn't ANTI_BACTERIAL it wouldn't hurt as long as properly rinsed and dried

This being how I was able to bleach my shells from florida dry them over a months time then eventually they ended up in my shell dweller tank and no deaths.

I picked dish soap since it is known not to leave residue and would cut through the crap without harming the silicone.

But seeing as I desire not to be the flame of the forums I thought I'd go with your wishes and thoughts and experience. Probably vinager and a scrubbie NO RAZORS

i used scrubbies on mineral deposits before and it scuffed my glass good. now i use hot vinegar to disolve it and a razor to finish it up.

Make some Aqua Regia, will remove the nasty stuff with ease and its completely harmless! ;)

You're not supposed to use any kind of soap to clean your tank or any equipment with cause the soap will be left behind and will be present in the water and can be harmful to your fish.

All the tanks but one turned out good. The one tank has so much thick deposits on it you can barely see into the tank at all. I can't scrape the minerals off even after a year of being fully submerged in softer water. I tried my finger nails no luck. I'm at a loss for how to clean this one..
