I have been working on making frames, the easy part, and then placing them and fasten them where they need to be, the HARD part for me. These frames, the white wood, they are to hold the drawer slides and the reason it's so difficult for me, is because I have to crawl and wiggle to get under there and then it hurts too and it has taken me two work days to get done what is shown and the third frame from the left, it still needs knocked and moved but I had to stop.Looking forward to seeing you create the stand.
So tomorrow, I will start installing the drawer slides, I can only get on the floor and back up a few times a day, it is just the most awkward and difficult thing to do, so I also have more paint to do on the drawers. The doors are good to go and they will be a breeze to hang. Normally, building a cabinet, the cabinet can be moved, turned over, upside down, on the bench or on the floor, my point is that I can do drawers very good and it's only difficult because I got about 5 thousand pounds sitting on this 'cabinet' so yeah, Popeye coulda did it in a few seconds! Gonna eat me some Spinach!
I wanna build New York City in my garage...! 180" long, 44" tall 40" deep... One can Day Dream...
Anyway when I said no more pics until the stand was finished, I meant of the whole entire tank and stand together. I'm just gonna show ugly stuff until then and then when the Doors & Drawers are swinging and sliding, and the hardware is shining, I promise a Stunning Reveal! All symmetrical and sturdy and handsome... only a few more days
