'Cleveland' Rocks!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I went ahead and put a coat of black on the drawers, I have a big day tomorrow, huge Reveal Party! I want to invite someone! If I'm in Severe Violation of ruining the Great Reveal, well do ya remember when Jeraldo Rivera tried to have a Great Reveal? It was a huge nothin burger, more like nothin meat loaf!

My stand looks like friggin farm style! The brassy hardware might give it more 'urban' appeal, it is the Cleveland, after all! Mkay, we party tomorrow!IMG_20240219_230813_HDR.jpgIMG_20240219_230842_HDR.jpg

Who's ready to (reveal) Party? Not ME! I wonder if anyone will show up to the After Party, besides my Inner Junkie! He is ALWAYS ready to party, My Inner Junkie is. I brought that piece of tree trunk stump home, on the back of my bike. I cut it up into three pieces and two of them are in Chicago.animal, hoof or paw.jpg

This is just a Pre-Party favor! It's the left hood half, with 15 degree angles to enhance visual interest. Oh my, I'm so anxious about the Reveal Party and the Guest List, standing room only! Listen Monster Men & Monster Women, this place will be Rockin tonight! See ya then! The Big Reveal Shan't be Denied!work from yesterweek.jpg

Okay, let's get right to it. Look What I Made! Thanks for being such patient and orderly Monsters, this place was packed! It's the After Party I'm all excited about. Shaq and the Rock are doing Security & Parking Duty and my Inner Junkie was hoping for the Trans Siberian Orchestra as musical guest at the After Party but that one fell through. Instead, the High Bishop landed the Tabber Knackle Choir, WOW! And it's my understanding that Tabber Friggin Knackle Choir will be performing a cover of Aerosmith's, 'Dude Looks Like a Lady'.... I can't wait to rock out at the After Party, YEAH! Back in the Saddle! Sing it with me!

Good evening, Monsters! I hope to get to chat with more you about your fish and equipment. I have some really fun filter ideas that I wanted to try out on Chicago, sorta like a hydroponic thing to help keep the water healthy with the hope being, less frequent water changes. I will try it on the Cleveland. My next big piece of work is to empty Akron and move it into my old workshop, AKA, my new fish room. And then I would really like to get the ceiling and wall insulation covered up... Good Night!

Awesome job! wasn't sure about that 15 deg. angled top, but it really looks good. How tall is the tank and cabinet, floor to top?

71" from the floor to the top of the hoods.
Hoods 8"
Tank 35"
Base 28"

And the Chicago sits on a 24" base, 45" tall tank with no hood, it sits 2 inches shorter than both the Cleveland and Akron.

The base for Akron is 35" tall, 30" tall tank, 6" hoods, and it was planned to build Cleveland the same overall height.
