Cloning the Wolly Mammoth

I thought they were ambush predators that lodge onto their prey's jugular to compensate for their weaker bite?

I agree on the return of the Thylacines. No big land predator in Australia for a long time already except for saltwater crocs. Oh dingos!

Australia houses colossal monitor lizards till today. Some species grow considerable larger than a Dingo

Speaking of which, the Perentie which is a cousin of the Megalania is not at all that large to take down a kangaroo or a wallaby. BTW who's up for a Megalania revival?

i'd want one of those little chicken-sized dinosaurs as a pet. you know the ones that look similar to a raptor but they are tiny and they were in the 2nd jurrasic park movie I think and hunt in packs?

Compsognathus.

Though to be honest, Velociraptor would work as well. It was the size of an average turkey. There were actually quite a few late Cretaceous theropods that would suit the bill quite well IMO.

it would be sweet it have a little velociraptor running around in the back yard

Yeah and it was bigger like the ones in the JP movies it would be a helluva security system.

If they can be tamed... A turkey is already a fearsome animal. A turkey with serrated teeth and a claw that targets your jugular will be a lot of blood.

Perenties and lace monitors do grow huge, but are considerably less bulky than the indonesian species like V.Salvator or Komodo Dragons. They can't really take down large prey items.

I don't know, there is a lot of people that are scared of mid sized dogs and velociraptor is probably a lot more dangerous at similar size:
