I doubt that saber tooth cat would kill much people...they are unable to develop a strong bite and were mostly scavangers. Their teeth were mostly for display.

now that you mention this i recall reading something about it or i watched it on nat geo when they discussed sabers scavenging animals caught in the tar pits

We have 90% of T rex DNA. It is possible to bring it back. Its just a different process. Not cloning but recreating.
