some of you might have seen the 2 6 inch clowns i just got.
i am having trouble feeding these guys, im guessing they are wild caught.
they wont eat pellets, flakes, shrimp, and blood worms. when i put the food in they start to swim around and seem like they are looking for food but never eat.
what can i try?

if you can, get them snails. They love them. im surprised they are not eating bloodworms though

Really funny they won't eat any of the foods you mention, mine eat all of them. Here's a list of dietary options I use for loaches:

Flakes (Omega One)
Hikari Carnivore
Hikari Massivore
Bloodworms
Mysis Shrimp
Brine Shrimp
Frozen Krill
Zucchini
Green Mussels
Snails
Smelt Eggs

ive only had them for a few days so do you think they will eat later? and if they are wild caught do you think that is the reason?

It could be a possibility that they are still settling in..look at them closely and make sure they are still healthy.. no ick or anything... not that there would be..... just a precaution since loaches have no scales they are more prone to this then most especially under stress.. if all looks well i would just give it a little more time..they are skiddish and nervous.. and need time to settle in. If possible i would leave the light off during your feeding or have the light on for awhile before you will feed so they adjust to the light.. and don't forget to remove any uneaten food, you want to keep the water pristene especially when fish are under stress .

Yes, turn lights off and feed them. That might help.

i will feed them tonight, i have other fish in the tank also.
they both look healthy and they will swim around and such, but they are as active as my 4 3inchers.

yeah he's right, put more hiding place, loaches doesnt like bright light, they like to fit in holes,...try feeding it with bloodworms if it still doesn't eat

Give them time before they eventually eat the food.

Good luck.:)
