since i have my 46 bow with not filter, impeller broke would it be ok to put them in there with the 4 other loaches? the bb is in a bag siting in the tank and there is a powerhead that blows air. i would do water changes every half week untill next week sometime when my ac110 comes. would that be ok?

Are you saying without a filter? I would not mix the loaches that are of concern about eating issues with good healthy loaches..why is there a need to move them so soon?

i was hoping the bigger ones would see the others and start eating.
should i get some pimafix to see if the loaches have parasites?

I would not do anything with them..they are already in the aquarium with everyone else..if your going to treat them you would have to be extremely careful since they are scaleless and cannot take very many medicines..with out doing more harm...this is why fish should be quarenteened before you add them to your tank...plus taking them out now they would have to get use to another tank and it would be stress all over again... i would check and see which meds would be okay for them and how much you should use..what makes you think there is a parasite..

I would wait another few days to see how they are doing..see if they eat.. as long as they are looking okay. And check your water ..always make sure you get all the uneaten food out because that will cause problems quickly.. fish can go quite along time with out eating.. and as long as they look good..no ick etc i would leave them settle in..

they arnt sick at all.
the bellies are really starting to cave in, i moved them to their own tank with a lot of hinding spots and stuff.
they seem a lot more happy in their new tank.
i just put cut up garlic on a hook into the tank, just went down and i saw them trying to eat it.
is there anyway to make fresh garlic flavor or scent foods?

are loaches good with earthworms?

Earthworms are fine, so long as they aren't too big, crush the head of the worms before you put them in to stop them diving into the gravel.

too many posts to read all, I didn't see anyone mention LIVE California Black Worms.. these are actually live crawly wormy worms.. Not to be mistaken with Frozen Blood Worms which are insect larvae. My clownies were extremely shy at first too and they wouldn't touch FBWs only LIVE California Black Worms.
