clown loach feeding help

any pet store should have snails...if they are wild caught and want more natural food, you could try getting them some small feeder shrimps, as well as snails...i get shrimp for mine they cost like 25 cents.. and besides that just keep trying to feed them. if they don't know what the food is it may take them a while to accept it, but seeing the other clowns eat it should help..good luck with your new babies

any luck with them eating..if not i would put a half of algae pellet in and then leave them alone,,from across the room you should hear little pings as they eat it.. it will move and hit the glass etc.. if you hear nothing then i would think they are still not eating.. the reason why i would do this is because they are super sensitive and will know you are there even if u are a couple of feet away..they will be nervous and not eat.. you should be a good distance and not have your dog walk by.. i try to take pics of mine and my dog ruins every shot.. then as time goes on they will relax and so can you..

That is very strange..are they getting frightened over something.. it only takes one clown loach to scare everyone else.. sometimes the leader is the one who is scared and then they all follow suit.. just leave the zucchni in there a while.. and check back in an hour..leave lights off and quiet and peaceful... see what happens.. and do not worry they can go a long time with out eating and it has only been a couple of days..

there are other fish in the tank that might be scaring them.
i let the zucchini in there and i will see later

what other fish are in the tank .. that could very well be it.. it is hard to judge when you are not right there seeing the situation and i am by no means an expert.. just have had clowns for a long time so i am familiar with their personality.. i hope they eat for you soon.. i know it is a worry..
