Haha, I'll have to take your word for it since I could only find a pic of your loach with the spot on both sides. That is cool. I have one with a small dot on one side and another with a spot that's gotten larger as it's gotten older. Thanks for your comments about the NLS.

Late to the party but "loaches online" has a formula that I have been feeding and it works well with cucumbers and clams and shrimp as side food.

They are from 3"- 5" and in with a few pleco's and 5 dats that are fed cucumber and hikari gold, sinking carnivore and floating sticks.

I feed mine Hikari Gold sinking, floating pellets, and lots of algae wafers. I get them all by the lbs. in bulk. Since, I also have datnoids. All my clown loaches and my community loaches all ranging from 5"-6.5" Golden Zebra, Reticulated YoYo (pakistani) and standard yoyo have a daily diet of cut up frozen prawns or tilapia. They all seem to color up very well and grow nicely with this variation IMO.
