hmmm, assorted african cichlids i.e. if u wanna do a new setup. if u wanna add to what you already have then I'd say go for some SA/CA cichlids. colourful and robust. strange collection you have though.

which cichlids will grow big enough and fast enough to hang with the arowana and datnoid? are they aggresive without enough caves around? i still want a peaceful tank

datnoid and discus anyone?

i was thinking about doing discus and dats before i threw my indo and thinbar in the frontosa tank. the lfs lady was looking at me like i was retarded. and then she told me saying that the datnoid is gonna pwn the discus. so yea. :nilly:

you can try frontosa's if the aro's and the dats are pretty small. im not too sure about assorted cichlids. but its worth a try. would look great if they can survive.

So what did you get? I bet you've already gotten something new 'coz its been two weeks since the thread was open. I can't control myself that long with regards to getting new fish especially if funds are available.

hahaha, i didnt get anything for my tank yet. i wanted your guy's opinion first. Still hoping to get discus for the tank but quite a few disagree even though i've got the feeding problem solved and my NTT is pretty timid and he doesnt bug any fish

I would personally go with the preveous sugestion of a few peacockbass, imo there one of the nicest looking fish out there.

datnoid/arowana/geo's/bass/bala sharks/clown loaches/ and maybe some discus could be ok. for tank mates IMO. anyone of those. :D

yeah.. ive considered clown loaches but they look similar to datnoids and the growth rate is so so slow. Plus I wanted a change so I ended up getting bichirs for my bottom feeders =)
