They aren't suffering your right, but if giving everybody a tax cut stimulates the economy, why not? And trust me that money they keep will go some where, now or later. As will the middle classes.

That's the point some of us are trying to make - giving everybody a tax cut does not necessarily stimulate the economy.

I'm right in the middle class, but I don't need a tax cut. I've structured my budget around my income and I'll make due with what I have. I appreciate paying taxes if it will give everyone a chance at education, roads without potholes that won't tear up my car, a police force that allows me to walk around at night without fear of crime, feeding people who may have had a stroke and can't work anymore due to their disability, etc...

I do think many of your points are valid.....just not the tax cuts in a bad economy...GOTTA SPEND ..to create jobs... it is the proven method.. reagan DID SPEND MONEY(STAR WARS )... and took the deficit to record heights at the time...the myth that reagan cut taxes to stimulate the economy is revisionist history ...he spent equally and more....plus rased taxes in his second term...

I like all those things too, but it would be better if they were funded by more people making enough to pay more income taxes! I would rather everyone to make more money than people who make enough to pay to pay more.

I agree with that completely! If everybody in the country who wants to work was able to get a job, then we would all pay less taxes.

we all want that ...no argument there...BUT... you have to create jobs...the only sure way is to spend money.....then we can fix the budget and lower taxes on the back of A STRONG ECONOMY... that is when tax cuts will stimulate spending ...NOT in a weak economy ...it REALLY is SCIENCE ...ask any economy prof. not on the rep. party payroll

Where are we now with 6 trillion in new debt? And more people on food stamps than ever? I hope you are right and it works because that's the route we are taking shall shall see. I really hope I'm the one that's wrong.

no arguement there but .....how you gonna pay off the debt without a strong economy ...and tax cuts for the wealthy really aren't going to affect the food stamps crowd ...ever...but if tax cuts would work to raise money I would be HAPPY TO support EVERYBODY never paying income tax....
