Clown loach
Redtailed Blue loach
Angelfish (tall fish)
Needlefish
Featherfin/Lace catfish
Sun catfish
Spiny eel
Pictus catfish (even they reached only 6 inch long, its their behavior)
Chinese algae eater (I love when the lfs failed to mentioned that they will get 7 inch long and stop eat the algae)
Its rare to see adult fish in the lfs for sale. Walmart, Petsmart and Petco usually sell the juvies of any monster fish species. And all of they failed to mentioned that these juvies will become too big or too aggressive.
This article will help the newbies.

The Chinese algae eater, yes. They resort to mucous membrane of the fish for protein source. They're not a good choice for community setups especially those involving flat disc shaped fish such as discus. They're best kept with the nasty loaches who can handle them effectively and then feisty tankmates such as filament barbs.lordofthejewsjr;2380637; said:wait, the algae eater stops eating algae? nooooooooooooo![]()
