my knowledge on plecos in relatively limited as there are so many variations. But I’m finishing up building my fish tank room, and I would like to put a fancy pleco variety in each of my tanks!
There are 7 display tanks in the final plan, most of them are either stocked already or I have their stock in various growout/quarantine tanks so the stocking won’t change in that way.

Any suggestions are appreciated, even if it’s “don’t add more to that tank”. The stockings I have are all checked a dozen times over and I have all the tanks over filtered and aquascaped to meet the needs of all the current stock. I either have driftwood, or can add it for Royals as well.

350g already has a watermelon in it so that one is covered.

125 gallon A: 6 peacock eels; 15 skunk Corys; 30 cardinal tetras; 20 Black neons; 10 black skirt tetras

125g B: 3 black spotted spiny eels (M. Dayi); 15 tiger barbs; 10 rosy barbs

120g A: 1 TT eel (this one is a single specimen tank, so no pleco here)

120g B: 1x super Red Severum; 5 half banded spiny eels; 10 bosemani rainbows.

120g C: 1x EBJD; 2x Senegal bichirs; 10 Giant danios

120g D: 1x green Severum; 1x feather fin cat; 1x African brown knife; 10x Australian rainbows

I tried to name ones that are somewhat easy to find and I had experience with which I own everyone except the golden vampire which I want. I'd also look for an L137 mine is one of my favorites. Oh I forgot the para pleco

I don’t think I’ve seen any L137s, but lately the LFS has been getting a lot more exotic plecos (one of the senior staff starting collecting them, so we benefit!) so maybe I’ll be lucky enough to find one!

wetspot has 1 for $40 which I paid $80 for mine, this is by far the best algae eater I've ever had

I'm just gonna say it because I'm sure everyone is thinking it, why do you have so many flipping eels?! lol

Lol I’m mildly obsessed with spiny eels, originally, I was going to have every tank with spiny eels, but 2 of them ended up a little different just because of availability >.< I even got my brother into them recently, he’s been out of the hobby for a couple years, got a rescue peacock, and now he’s hooked as well!
