I would love to have one, tanks to small and I have fish he would eat. Not to mention I dont leave my water level low.. and I've seen $75 fire eels vanish to find them 4 months later as a dried chip

I keep my tank topped off, I just secure the lid and put a canopy on the fire eel tank, same with the TT eel, also using a couple 2.5-5lbs weights sitting on the glass is fine. As long as you have dithers they won’t eat, and tank mates that aren’t aggressive enough to attack them, they won’t get stressed enough to jump. My fire eel is small, but he comes right up to the water surface for food and hasn’t jumped once!
