I mean I could do that, but that space where they are is just fit for them lol. Plus I love my birds. Fish arent as loud and arent as much of a pain in the butt.

Just wanted to shoot an update here, I ended up with:
1x L200; 1x L137; 1x L029; 1x L128; 1x L024
My LFS got in a bunch of fancy plecos, saw probably a half dozen more that I want but don’t have tanks for lol
Ahh, the green phantom pleco is a beautiful species and one that I can not give enough praise as it is truly an amazing pleco. Care to share some pictures of your new additions?
I can gt one of the L137 fairly easily, but I haven’t seen anything but flashes of movement and a silhouette of the L200 since I put him in his tank . Same with RE vampire and blue phantom for that matter... the 137 IS the biggest of them so I guess it makes sense that he’s the least fearful! So there’s the 137 and the tail of the 029, best I could do...
What’s up with that 2nd picture? I feel if I do much as pokes it a whole cloud of crap would come up.
He’s still in a QT tank, I accidentally added the wrong bucket of crushed clay substrate, the unwashed bucket, so now there’s a ton of crap in the water... I’ve done like 15 water changes, changed the filter cartridge, cleaned the filter, etc. once that dust gets in the water, it doesn’t want to leave. I’m currently setting back up my other QT tank so I can just move the pleco and empty out/clean the whole tank, and this time use the right stuff lol
Aaaaand the best I could do with the L200. The L128, I’m half convinced it vanished lol, I think I’ve seen it once in the month since I put it in its forever tank... its 4” long in a 120g planted tank haha
