Im connecting two 55 gallon tanks in an 'L' shape. The two end panes will go ll to the long ones and connect at the corner and I bought a 1 sqft piece of glass for the bottom. When I explain it some people don't understand so don't worry if you don't get it, you would really just need to see it. The important part is that it will end up beind a 120 gal 'L' shaped tank. Anyone have any comments or suggestions.

I'll take some pictures whan I'm done.

BTY feel free to tell me it's a bad idea, but know that that will not change my mind in the slightest.

Hey, who cares if it's a bad idea... do what you wanna do. I'm not saying it is though, lol. Just make sure that you seal it up good and tight and keep us posted definitely... good luck, man.

I'd go much wider than the width of a 55 for an L-tank.Unless your just gonna keep small stuff. If you pull it off, leak free, then it should be nice. For like, sevs or discus.

I've got the stand built and the aquarium pannels off so now I will have to raise one tank a quater inch and level them. That sounds easy but it's turning out to be the hardest part. I think i've got an idea on how to do that though. Then I just have to seal it all up with silicone. I hope to have water in it by the end of the weekend but that's not for sure. If all goes well it should be fish ready in a week or two. I am also going to make a sump and I want that running for a bit before fish.

Pics??

That would be wicked sick if you could put 4 55's together in this shape...l_ _l then put a couch in the middle!!!! Your half way there with your idea!!!! haha. Goodluck!

How do you plan on framing it?

Also,
55+55=???
120?
I don't get it.
