Is it just me or am I thinking this wrong? 120gl. will be putting much more pressure on the entire tank than two individual 55's which is what the glass thickness is set up for. I smell total disaster.
 
that doesn't matthe they way the tank is setup the depth is the exact same so the pressure won't be any greater

Then why do they use thicker glass for a 75, as apposed to a 55 which is the same height? The 75 is just wider, isn't it?

a 75G tank has less surface area than 2 55G's
the more surface area the less pressure per sq inch...
 
sorry guys, It's been made for a few weeks but the camera isn't working. It leaked a couple of times at the seems but I've patched it and it has been doing fine. It doesn't show any signs of bowing or anything so i think it will work for a long time. Anyway, pictures will probably come out this week.
