I feel really bad that I didn't take step by step pictures but by the time I found this website the bulk of the work was already done. I might get around to writing detailed instructions but this is bassically what I did.1) Find two Identical tanks2) Build a stand (pretty straight forward) although it has to be super level in all ways imaginable or else it is a headache lining up the tanks3) One tricky part was taking the glass apart but there are instructions elsewhere on the site so check it out. It's basically razor blades and acetone. *I didn't take the tanks all the way apart I only took an end peice off on each of the tanks.4) I had to level the tanks because their bottom bracing was slightly different. One stood about a quarter inch higher. this was a 'b' to deal with. I ended up using these metal strips that I found at home depot to raise one tank. 5) One extra peice of glass was needed, a 12.5 by 12.5 to go on the bottom.6) from there it was just lining up all the peices and gluing.7) Also, I took a couple of the aforementioned metal stripe and glued them over the straight across seems, and used a couple to brace the top, but it is hard to describe, Ill take pictures some time.-No fancy techniques, just take them apart, line 'em up, and glue them.Yes it can be done with any two Identical tanks.
