Consideration's when choosing short body fish.

In the 5 inch+ range, the female is 3+ inches. Last night and today the female has been coming out for short periods, digging pits etc. I'm guessin/hopin she will bring the fry out soon.

I did manage to get 2 somewhat crappy pics of my male sb fh Titus, each one done in different lighting. Despite my tendency to tremble like a dog poopin pinecones when I take pics they show how pretty he really is.

This morning all the fry were grouped in a loose cloud over the clay fish in the pics, mum and da hovering nearby.....think I peed a little.

Sooooo many of the fry are sb, 50% or more...before this I would have called the sb gene a simple recessive. I'm not so sure now.

Still with mom and dad, I dont think I could get very good shots of the fry in the tank they're in now. Too dim etc. Some time this week I should be setting up an 80 gallon. When it's cycled properly (I have 40lbs-50lbs cycled gravel) everyone is getting moved including the fry, I'll take extensive vids and pics then.
