Looks like theres a few white eggs this morning, if they do all go white I'll leave the pair together and see if they try again.

WooHoo! No more white eggs than there were earlier and the rest have visible black dots in them. I'm not 100% certain, but fairly sure they are hatching right now, don't wanna bother mum and da to confirm though, hate to disturb them.

Lucky you :(

My female Butters looks like she is finally losing some of her black.

very nice, you may want to seperate one parent to lower your chances of predation? or even both if you are willing to care for them yourself...

hopefully you get some SB's out of them

All hatched out now, mum and da have them moved to a pit near the spawn site, they've excavated and or re-landscaped every damn pebble in their tank.

They're doing such a good job, I'd like to see how well they do on their own for a bit.

Even if I dont get any from this intial breeding I surely will in the second generation.

I caught a glimpse of what looks like a couple of hundred wrigglers. Both parents are doing a first rate job, no signs of aggression toward each other or the fry...just at me.:irked:

The male rockin his breeding dress, brief appearance by mum toward the end of the video. They have the fry hidden under the clay fish.
