Nice. I'm gonna shoot my foot off if my pair doesn't breed already. I need to stop ******* with their tank. I wanna raise some babies but I am getting frustrated. I'm gonna sell that large ZZ I bought a couple weeks ago unless it breeds with my large parrot I just got, I have a feeling the ZZ is a female.

I am going to get an escondido female to cross with BB (aka big boy).

Fairly certain thats the only way I'm gonna get an sb Texas that looks the way I want them to. Not to mention I want sb green Texas, not red or super red Texas.

It helps that I do still have one of my orginal 4 sb Texas, he(?) can be crossed to the bb X escondido fry. That should be somewhere in the ballpark of what I'm after. I like the ones I just bought but they are far too parrot looking for my taste.

Crossed to sb Escondido, then back to breidohri using the most heavily pearled fry to do so. The resulting fry bred back to the orginal 50/50 cross, always choosing for nice pearls and the sb trait every generation.

I think the third generation would show some amazing results. A very subtle coloration (compared to some FH) but nonetheless beautiful.

Oh and p.s. I am going to get an escondido female...

She will arrive Wednesday, along with five 1-1.5 inch Herichthys deppi.

Kira the killin never did spawn before she shipped out. Probably because I was so paranoid that he would shred her right before I shipped her that I kept seperating them. Oh well, he has a new GF on the way and Kira shipped out in perfect health with no mating damage.
