great news!!! that mean all you need is a carbon filter!!!abortedsoul;2446273;2446273 said:According to the county water report for my area, they only use chlorine.
on my system i have 5 and 10 microns...DB junkie;2446688;2446688 said:^^ Do you also need another filter for heavy metals? If so could you recommend a micron size? I know the guys' system I was looking at ran another filter after the carbon...... Care to speculate?
Thanks for replying Li.

I'm just going to go get some filters from Menards, hook them up and I guess since I can't get a straight answer I'll just test it on some un important fish....
But like I said, my LFS here had a drip system on all the FW tanks and the guy was able to remove all chlorine from the tap water with under $70 worth of filters and all necassary plumming. Just build an overflow going to the drain and turn on the faucet accordingly.
Got pics of how you do this?islander671;2454349; said:My drip is set up that way. Tap to pressure regulator, to carbon filters, to drip emitters, and into all my tanks. I use gravity overflows into a central drain that goes out of the house. I slow drip diluted prime, for peace of mind, even though my area doesnt use chloramines.
