Converting from fresh to reef tank!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not on a reef. It'll kill off all the tiny good creatures in there.

Only safe, permanent way I know how to treat SW "ich": http://www.**************.com/forum/library/hospital/swich/

What fish are in there? Would they fit in a 10g/ They can be gotten for pretty cheap. Or... if the ich isn't bad, maybe with good, pristine water (lots of WC), they can ride it out & fight it off. Although it will always be in there & any stress or new additions, may get infected again.

dang..fish are 2 chromis 1 yellow tang..1 flame angel....yellow head goby....mandarain scooter blenny....2 clowns....2 sand sifting stars...2 horse shoe crabs 1 emerald crab...1 coral banded shrimp....think thats it....also some xenia..button polyps....

So who do you see the spots on? Also, what is your Manderin eating? Really bad fish to add to a new system, as they generally eat only live pods & there will never be enough of them in a new tank, without a fully-functioning refugium. They eat their weight in pods daily.
